Tuesday, November 7th, 2023: It’s been almost a year since I last posted here and unfortunately I haven’t been very successful spreading the gospel of Sand Stacking. As a film maker, I kinda got used to my work just sort of attracting attention on its own.

With "The Smash Brothers”, people got excited about it after experiencing it and shared it of their own volition - but I realize Sand Stacking doesn’t work that way. I’ve met so many people who love this game, but also a surprising number of people who don’t think it looks fun only to discover they like it upon playing it.

That puts me in a new position where I think I’m gonna have to really rely on advertising to show people how fun it can be. I may have to make a documentary about it…

Thursday, December 22nd, 2022: I AM THE ONE WHO STACKS.

So I decided to take the all important step in the beginning of any competitive game and set all of the benchmark records myself - including breaking the record set just a few days ago by Minty Fresh (your move good sir) and raising the bar on Highest Stack 4mm to 21 from 20.

I recorded records in all 3 of the different categories - each one is linked on the competitive page.

As we all know, competition is driven by passion to be the best. I hope others out there join me and Minty Fresh in the pursuit of greatness in the greatest arena ever known to mankind: Stacking tiny metal cubes super high.

Monday, December 19th, 2022: Hello all! Going forward, this will be the place to find the latest sand stacking news. The only major news to report right now is that kits are for sale!

This week, I’m hoping to start streaming more regularly to help promote the game (and set some records if I can). You can come check out the stream at twitch.tv/sandstacking.

I’m currently setting up the Competitive page (which will be updated with all the latest confirmed records), but I do have some news on that front: a friend of mine who goes by Minty Fresh has recorded the first official TWENTY STACK. Check out the run for yourself.

Congrats to Minty Fresh for setting the record on his FIRST DAY of play.

If you think you can beat Minty in Highest Stack 4mm (or any of the other 5 potential records you can set) record yourself while you stack! You never know when that magical run will line up. :)
